Marika: Good afternoon sir.
Mats: Good after noon mam
Marika: How are you?
Mats: Very well thank you. How are you?
Marika: Thank you for asking. I am doing just fine. Lovely weather here
Mats: Indeed? It is kind of greyish here I am afraid.
Marika: To be honest, the sky is grey here too. But it was sunny and warm yesterday and the day before that and actually the whole week has been nice.
Mats: As in Sweden. What is the reason for the international touch of our conversation?
Marika: I thought it would be a funny way of small talk. You see, finns are very bad at small talk, but in english we do it fluently.
Mats: I will actually go to Helsinki next month.
Marika: Poor you.
Mats: Well, one's got to survive don't you think?
Marika: I don't know if you are up to that.
Mats: Well, it is a matter of will I believe, but I could be wrong on that one.
Marika: Oh no, you are never wrong. Strong self confidence is your label.
Mats: It is just a face I put up to the public. I am in fact a scared little boy.
Marika: That's not what I've heard. But what on earth are you going to do in Helsinki?
Mats: Business I'm afraid
Marika: You are working too much. You have to think about your health. The service in finnish hospitals don't reach the same high standard as in Sweden. You don't want to die during a business trip, do you?
Mats: Well, I will try to stay in mint condition during my stay in your lovely country.
Marika: Excuse me for my abrupt silence. I had to feed my son, he was to become a very sad piece of child.
Mats: Well, but he is happy and satisfied now?
Marika: I truely hope so.
Mats: So do I
Marika: I liked the potato-carrot-chicken food. It is his favorite from the product line Aunt Marika's best children food.
Mats. Aunt Marika??
Marika: And now he demands some serious hugging 'n kisses.
Marika: That's just a brand name.
Mats: Well, you have to give him that then
Mats: Well, I think Granny Marika's would work better.

Marika: Havn't thought about that. Sounds splended!
Mats: I think so to...
Mats: Will your photo appear on the jars?
Marika: Do you think I look enough granny?
Mats: Haven't seen you lately, but without make-up you might do fine.
Marika: Oh, I see. Not quite the answer I was hoping for. I still have to discuss it with my product manager.
Mats: Yeah... that could be wise
Marika: But if I'm going in to the industry for adult dipers you will be my number one choise for cover face.
Mats: You know you can count on me always
Marika: What a lovely chat we have.
Mats: Indeed
Mats: I am actually reading your blog right now
Marika: I think I will publish it there.
Mats: Publish what?
Marika: Our chat.
Mats: Well, I won't stop you
Marika: As an example of nation wide co-operation.
Mats: Yes, the manifest of the brotherly love between Sweden and Finland
Marika: By the way, do you get paid for this?
Mats: Yes, in a way...
Marika: Oh no, not by your assistant????
Mats: Well, it is my assistant who is typing this...
Marika: And what are you doing while she is typing? Typing her what to type me?
Mats: No, I am actually drinking champagne and looking beatiful at the same time.
Marika: Damn your boss, asking you to work in two different projects at the same time!
Mats: Yes, I know I will call my limo driver right away and ask him to drive me to my boss, so I can tell him this right in his face.
Marika: You should start by sending him a telegram!
Mats: No I will send him a courier on horse actually.
Mats: With a trumpet since it is Friday
Marika: That's a nice gesture.
Marika: Did you like my blog? Not very radical I'm afraid.
Mats: Yes, I liked your blog, especially the part with baby poop... I remember having such conversation myself for some years ago. :)
Marika: I've heard it's common.
Marika: And Jesper started complaining on day two. He wanted to be on my "best right know" list. Such a silly man.

Mats: Well I want to be on your shitlist, but you don't mention me at all on your blog.
Marika: You can be on my list for most wired chat personalities
Mats: Well, that is good enough for me
Marika: Well, it has been very nice talking to you. I hope you will ha a pleasant stay in Helsinki and take care of your boss. And I will contact you if I need some more advices in english.
Mats: I wish you the same, I hope the sun will smile at you and I will continue to follow your life through your blog from now on. I am always available for advice in English.

Marika,

Isn't that what i just said? I have seen Rome, and now I can lay back and die peacefully.

Thank you!
